Oceans deserve more scrutiny amid UFO/UAP talk: Retired admiral

Retired Navy Rear Adm. Tim Gallaudet says he’s not entirely convinced so-called UFOs and UAPs have been using Earth’s oceans as hidden bases, but he agrees the aquatic frontier is worth scrutinizing against that theory.

“We’ve only mapped the seabed of the ocean floor to about 25% of its total. We’ve not even explored 10% of the ocean volume,” Gallaudet, an oceanographer, told “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” on Wednesday. “If there were any extraterrestrial visitors that did not want to be seen, this is where they’d hide.”

The idea that oceans could be used as screens for unidentified anomalous phenomena has gained traction following a series of sightings and videos captured off the coast of Southern California and other aquatic settings. A NewsNation special report that aired Dec. 6 featured explored the topic with experts and witnesses, and Gallaudet says he has spoken with former sailors who have their own experiences to recount.
