Bitesized UFOs #027: Itazuke AFB, Japan, Dec 1956
Two F-86s from the 68th Fighter Interceptor Squadron tried and failed to intercept a UFO near Itazuke, Japan, on 17th December 1956. The UFO was acquired on radar and then picked up visually by the pilots. The official USAF evaluation was that it was a balloon and a false radar trace.
