Bitesized UFOs #046: Triangular Formations over the Bering Sea, January 1958
On two separate occasions in January 1958, the crews of Lockheed Neptunes belonging to PATRON 1 based at Kodiak spotted unidentified radar targets over the Bering Sea. One group of three soon merged into one target, with lights observed by crewmembers onboard the Neptune. The second incident involved a triangular formation of contacts that eluded interception, although a vapour trail was spotted.
