For years, government officials have expressed curiosity about unidentified aerial phenomena, or as they're more commonly known, unidentified flying objects (UFOs.) Few have claimed to actually see one themselves, but former President Jimmy Carter, when he was governor, reported in a 1973 filing that he saw a "peculiar" light in Georgia. Senior NPR host Scott Simon, who interviewed Carter off the record about his experience, talked to "NewsNation Prime" about his conversation with the late president.
